Young Professional Network

Attracting and retaining young professional staff is an issue for many country communities with many young people leaving to gain further education and work opportunities in the larger metropolitan centres. In an attempt to address these issues, the Cotton CRC initiated a Narrabri ‘young professional network’ which aims to bring together young (under 40) people working in the community to develop and expand their professional and social network.

A group has already been successfully established in Narrabri and the Cotton CRC would like to see this expanded and established in other cotton growing rural communities.

list or establishing a similar group and would like some assistance including funding support,  please contact Yvette Cunningham on yvette.cunningham@cottoncrc.org.au or 02 6799 2471.
