Communication Exchange with Charles Sturt University
2007 saw a new partnership form between the Cotton CRC and the Communications Faculty of Charles Sturt University, Bathurst. Through this, students are able to gain practical xperience whilst completing their Communication Exchange program.

Summer Scholarships and Honours programs for undergraduates
Eight University students were awarded summer scholarships to focus on the problems impacting on the cotton industry during the 2007 summer. The Cotton CRC invested $32,000 in these projects to foster student development and create opportunities for young people in the cotton industry. Students came from a variety of different universities including The University of New England, The University ofS ydney, Deakin University, and The University of NSW.

Five Honours scholarships were also awarded to students throughout 2006–07
