IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR PRIVACY

The Cotton CRC's mission is to provide you with information derived from our extensive network of research and extension staff, and at the same time protect stakeholders' privacy.

On 21 December 2001, a new legislative regime dealing with the way in which we handle personal information commenced and the Cotton CRC and its associated entities ("Cotton Catchment Communities CRC") intend to treat your information in the following manner:

The Cotton Catchment Communities CRC respects the privacy of its stakeholders. The personal information the Cotton CRC collects is used for the purpose of promoting its activities and informing stakeholders of issues relevant to the cotton industry. The personal information the Cotton CRC collects may include your name, address, telephone and fax numbers, email address, and any further information you provide.

Please be assured we will not disclose any personal information for any other purpose than that outlines above without your consent, except where the use or disclosure is required or authorised by or under law. The Cotton CRC will make its best attempt to protect any personal information it holds from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. The Cotton CRC does not sell, in whole or part, the personal information it collects and does not disclose it to other organisations, except as provided above.

The consequence of you not providing any information requested by the Cotton CRC is that the Cotton CRC may not be able to fully inform you of new information or developments in sustainable cotton production. On request, you are welcome to view the personal information that we hold about you. If you think that any personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, please contact us, and following authentication, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that it is corrected.
