  • Based on area planted, over the past 10 years NSW has grown 65% of the Australian cotton crop.
  • In the 2007/08 season, Australian average yields were up 11% from the previous season, climbing from 1.91 t/ha (8.41 bales/ha) to 2.12 t/ha (9.34 bales/ha).
